Episode 122: Laughing Matters (April 2026)

This time in my life is really hard. I still struggle to find the words to describe this. I'm a writer. Yet, I fail to find the words for this. In the meantime, I continue forward in ways that I can. Perhaps you are facing something that's hard, too. If you are, this episode is for you. 

When life gets hard or when life sucks, I know I'm at a crossroad. I know I have to choose the path I take and how I proceed. So, I'm choosing gratitude. I'm choosing to laugh. I'm choosing joy. It's not easy to do every day. Still, I try. I encourage you to do the same. 

• Laughing Matters features the end-of-the-month highlights and usually includes four segments: celebrations, libation of the month, rants, and questions and answers. 
• Celebrations are about intentionally forming a habit of noticing and acknowledging the good within and around you. 
• Libation of the month is based on whatever I fancy or feel inspired by at the time. I share step-by-step instructions and you can mix right along with me. 
• Rants or stories are about anything I find funny and want to share. 
• Ask me a question. It might be featured in a future episode.

Honshu Punch

• 2.0 oz Tenjaku Blended Whisky
• .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
• .50 oz Pineapple Juice
• .50 oz Simple Syrup
• 4 Dashes Aromatic Bitters 
• Top with Club Soda 
• Serve in a highball
• Garnish with a lemon wedge
• Add a fun straw (I always do)
